What Is Your Why?

What’s my why?
Well, simply put, I haven’t been alive! Even as
a young kid I believed I was destined for great
things. I knew it in my soul. I knew I was special.
What the hell happened? How did I get there to
here? This is not the life I was destined to live! I
feel like I’m dying. I feel like I’m just counting the
days until it’s over. I’m not experiencing all the
joy and wonder that I know is out there. I’m not
being the leader I was born to be.
My older kids are just starting their adult lives
and they are struggling….. I see the negative
thought patterns and the mundane life taking
hold of them. I see the contentment with a life
of lack creeping in.
It’s killing me. Are they destined to live the life
of poverty that I’ve lived? I want to scream at
them to wake up! But how can I do that?
How can I expect them to change behaviors
I myself have yet to change? People follow
leaders who truly lead, not just talk. True
leaders lead by example. I haven’t given
them any positive examples to follow.
This needs to change! This will change!
I, we, they will see the success I’m having. I
will restore the thoughts of possibilities in all
our lives. The possibility that we can do great
things. That we can accomplish our goals.
That our dreams are not just something to
wish for! That’s the true meaning of success.
All the money and all the things are just a
by-product of success.
True success is knowing that you’re living.
Knowing that you short time here on earth
was not just waiting to die. Life is meant
to be experienced, soaked up, shared.
If I can just do that, I’ll know for the first time
in my life that I’m not just a waste of space.
That’s my why!
Understanding your why is the best reason to get out of bed in the morning, and perform at your very best.
When you have a dedicated reason for being alive, you are more likely to perdorm, and reach for your highest goals.
I encourage goal setting greatly, as well as planning for greater income, and developing myself to the best of my ability.
