How much does fear of failure really restrict you in your personal growth and the process of leadership development? Certainly any aspiring leader understands that an important part of their personal leadership development is learning to effectively deal with failure. Does fear of failure stop you from doing some of the things that you know will make you a greater leader? What if you could finally overcome the fear of failure for good? If you are ready to learn the secret to this, and how it can set your leadership development on the fast track to success, then keep reading.

First of all, the antidote for fear is always greater understanding of what that fear represents. Most of the time, when we look the thing that we fear dead in the face, it becomes less of a threat to us. That said, fear of failure is based on ignorance as to what failure really represents. You see, failure is just as crucial to your personal leadership development as success is. This is because there simply is no chance of success without failure occurring as well. Failure is the price that you pay to eventually achieve success.

All of the people in history who have accomplished great things, as well as those today have one thing in common: they all have a tremendous amount of failures under their belts. They succeeded not because they were better than anyone else at what they did. They succeeded because they made more attempts. When those attempts failed, they used that failure to correct course and they kept going. These failures contributed to their personal leadership development and helped them to learn what worked and what didn’t.

For example: the great baseball player Ty Cobb stole more bases than anyone else during his time. He also got called out for failing to steal bases more than anyone. Which one is he remembered for? What about the ten thousand attempts at creating the light bulb by Thomas Edison? You know, the actor and screenplay writer Sylvester Stallone said: “I have learned that success comes from the ability to effectively manage failure.” How can you learn to effectively manage failure if you keep running from it?

You see, even if you are able to succeed in getting what you are after you will not experience the leadership development which is needed to build the character for you to sustain that success. Things which come easy to people often go just as easy. However, when you are willing to pay the price of success you attach more value to it. You work harder to keep it and you appreciate it more. Not only that, you know what it takes to duplicate the process correctly, over and over and over.

If you want to reap the rewards of true leadership development and enjoy your success, there is nothing to fear from paying the price. That price is failure, action, failure, action and finally success.

Many networkers have spent countless hours and money chasing the dream of success. That dream seems unattainable at times and people may wonder if they have done everything they can to meet their goals. Networkers are being sent the message lately that personal development is important in their success and have been hearing about Success University. However, some may be wondering if they really need it. Let’s take a look at the question, “Do you really need personal development for success?”

To understand the importance of personal development, one must first understand that to do anything differently, we must make different choices or take different actions. We must become aware of the beliefs that drive our current situation. Once we gain enough personal development to recognize these beliefs, we can begin to change things.

The need for personal development is crucial for your well-being, in business, mentally, physically, and emotionally and affects all of our relationships. Personal development can be described as; the gradual growth of a person to bring out their potential by being more aware of inner feelings. People already posses their potential capabilities. However, we need to develop enough to be unconditionally responsible for achieving our highest potential.

Because our lives are so jammed packed these days, attending classes for personal development may seem an unnecessary thing to try and cram into an already busy life. However, attending an on-line school that lets one move at their own pace and decide on their own hours, where the student doesn’t even have to leave their home could be an easier way to get this important training. As well, there are some tricks to soaking up the knowledge.

Repetition and persistence is important to personal development. Reading and listening to personal development materials regularly is key. Of course this takes discipline and a place to get the material. Forming a habit of listening to, watching, and reading self-improvement material will help the material get into your consciousness. Over time you will see the knowledge start to make changes in your business and life.

If one is harboring mental conflicts, getting all the information out of a personal development course can be challenging as well. Mental conflicts cause the student to stop absorbing what is being taught because they are centered on the conflict. One may need to repeat a section of the material until the conflict is resolved before going to a new section. This may take longer, however in the end, it saves time and you learn more.

So, do you really need personal development? Networkers need to know that knowledge alone won’t make you successful. People attend school for 12-20 years but aren’t really taught the right things to be successful in life and business. In network marketing or MLM, you need to think differently to accomplish real success.

There are a number of different personal development courses available on the market today that will help one grow and move to the next level. Success University is not a traditional educational institution. It is an online education that teaches you how to think positively, and achieve personal growth.

“The rules won’t let me” Is the thirteenth of my series of the eighteen excuses people most commonly use, consciously or unconsciously that can slow down or eliminate their chance of becoming successful. Mind Set is a very substantial part of success development. Through various strategies like this and Personal Development can be made a lot easier.

There are areas of your life, and I am not referring to laws or legalities but social rules that can intimidate us not to cross lines because they are the rules we grew up with that either our parents or our piers instituted for us. Things that we perceive to be real only are they?

For instance, you can’t move out of state and leave your family or I have to do it that way I always have. Sometimes we need to march to the beat of our own drummer and do it our way. That is our form of originality.

With continued mind set training will aid in your success development. There are is a lot of mind chatter that can be in your mind holding you back from success. So continue to learn and grow.

We know you are all capable of this. You had to step outside of societies box to enter the realm of free enterprise to start with. Don’t let this mind virus limit your originality and perhaps keep you from your true path. Listen to your heart and follow its rules, that is usually our best guide.

For the longest time, I always thought that success in life meant financial success. I mean, most of us would love to live in a huge home located on a sunny beach and not have to worry about finding enough money to just to pay the bills each month. I soon realized though that fame and fortune does not dissolve away the problems associated with a troubled life. With suicides and drug problems associated with some high-profile people, I had to rethink my former notion of what success exactly is. This fact was further brought to light by a client of mine who was a self-made millionaire at a very young age and had a tremendous amount of success in business, but as I soon found out, his personal life was littered with drugs, adultery, and alcohol.

So I began to think, “Well, maybe money has nothing to do with success.” This idea lead me to an old gentleman named Carlos, who in his 60s, was a happy and friendly person, but also very poor by most standards. Carlos had a large family and was the proud grandfather of six beautiful grandchildren. Carlos unfortunately passed away a year after I had met him and although he lead a happy life, I could not help but feel a sense of loss for his family who now struggled to make ends meet. Although Carlos led a happy life, the absence of money in his life brought a level of stress and pain to his final legacy and for his family. I determined that the feeling of happiness alone, just like money, was not enough to qualify as being successful in life.

So what is success then if it is neither feeling happy, nor wealth alone? I had to discover for myself that success involves not only completing the things that you plan on doing in life, but also planning on completing the things in life that are important to your values as a person. These values are made up of:

•	Physical health

•	Professional growth and development

•	Spiritual growth

•	Financial security

•	Happiness

•	Personal development

•	Relationship maintainance

•	Love and romance

I have found that success does not require vast wealth, nor does it require you to have a fitness model body. Success in life, means that you have achieved your own optimal balance between all of the above-stated components. In this model of success, one cannot focus on just making money because it would cause the other components to significantly drop. This model of success means that the person does not focus solely on money, but instead shares a more bountiful marriage, or establishes better relationships and leaves this world a happy person.

So as a Personal Development Coach, I recommend that you should assess where you are at currently with respect to the above-stated components of your legacy. It’s natural that some might be higher or lower than others. It becomes your task to identify which ones are significantly higher and lower than others and focus on bringing those values which are low up to a higher level. That is the path towards success in life.

In order to find the answer to the question; why is personal development important, you must first find out what it means to you. Personal development is a way of life; you can’t know everything so if you embark on learning new things to broaden your horizons then this is personal development.

The best way in my opinion, to develop you, would be to learn the laws of success and prosperity. I am usually in heavy debate about the educational system and how it fits into to society. It creates people who believe that the only way to make it in life would be to follow a path that was predetermined by those who were or never will be truly wealthy in life.

Let’s take a closer look at this. We go to school and we are told that we have to learn in order to get a good 9-5 job. We then go to work and realize that all of our time is spent between working, sleeping and coping with the stress of never feeling successful. My friends if this is the way the scholars have determined success to be then we have all failed at life.

How can we go to work and get paid while the government makes more money out of our income than we do, I find this simply comical and this is what we are forced to accept.

Do you think you need to ask; why is personal development important, because clearly we need to develop a new way of thinking. We don’t need to become more educated to have a fulfilling life.

I know by saying that I may stir up some trouble but I don’t care because it true. The most successful people who have ever lived and have achieved success higher than Mount Everest were not educated, most of which were high school drop outs.

I’m not bashing education but I’m bashing the educational system. I’m surely not saying that you should not get educated but I’m saying that the educational system doesn’t hold the secret to success but you can become a successful tax payer. The more you earn for the time spent working the more taxes you must pay the government.

You need to develop the success traits of the wealthy and 99% of them will tell you it has to do with developing the power from within you and not cramming more words into your brain from text books.

If you learn how to control this power then you will surely find a way to be truly successful. Now sit down and ask yourself the question; why is personal development important to you?

Do you think you have an answer now? Do you think that you need to find ways to build multiple income streams to reach financial freedom; I’ll tell you a secret, if you want to become really successful find ways to give true value to others. Find a way to help people enrich their lives and you will reach financial freedom at an astonishing rate.

Want to know how true this is? Look around you right now. Look at all the marvelous inventions around you today like the television, radio, light bulb, computer, cellular phones and I can go on forever.

These things ad value to your lives and if you get in touch with your inner genius through personal development, then you will realize how you to can add value to other peoples lives too.

I hope you can now answer the question; why is personal development important. Realize that if you don’t seriously embark on developing yourself then you will be hindered by the way society have developed a strategy to keep you under it clutches as an employee and not an employer of success.

Meditate on what I’ve just said. The persons who may own the businesses for which you work are employers of success strategies. They’re successful because they have embarked on learning the laws of success and millionaire mindset.

You are the employee of this success because their businesses run on autopilot through your efforts not theirs. While you’re making your way to work they’re making their way to the gym. Are you getting the bigger picture now?

It’s time you become the employer of success and not the employee. That time is now. Never again should you ask the question; why is personal development important. It holds the answer to changing you entire life. Learn to develop the millionaire mindset today.

Personal Development – Action vs Daydreaming
Personal Development (PD) is one of the hidden pillars of the successful home business and for business leaders in general. The will and drive to build success has to be sustained over time. We actually need to work harder on ourselves than we work on our business to sustain our commitment. Its about controlling and disciplining our minds and becoming more because success is not something we pursue – success is something we attract.

Attracting Success

In order for us to attract success we need to become that person that attracts success. We are not going to attract success if we are not mentally ready to attract success. At least 30 minutes of PD every day. The key here is not to look outward for excuses, fall guys or success – everything is in our hands. There is no outside force that is going to make us change. Invest in books, magazines, etc. in terms of expanding your mind and becoming more prosperous.

Also, no one book is going to answer everything for you, even if you are saying to yourself right now “YES – I have the magic Book”. YES – it is funneling ALL wisdom about everything to me right now”. What you need to look for is material that resonates and moves you the most – start there.

Because the more you do – the more/faster your circumstances will change. It’s not about working hard – it’s about becoming more. So we can achieve more. Personal Development is not an end in itself it is a tool, one of many in your tool kit. Don’t get lost in empowerment or feel good messages. PD HAS to become accompanied by action – it is NOT a replacement for your plan.

Communicate with people and tell them where you are going at every opportunity. Giving your vision a reality through declaration and then implement. Implementation is one of the hallmarks of a becoming a leader.

Being a leader is a process. We can all say the same thing but it is how we language it to our teams. This is a process we are all working to become better all the time.

Practice it — Every opportunity with your team/friends/family/etc. – tell them where you’re going. Is it frightening – YES. Why? Because you committed yourself to take action by exposing your vision to the world.

Problem Solving
The only person who doesn’t have problems is in the cemetery. So all of us are and have been here. Formula for embracing problems:

We all come from backgrounds that say avoid problems
FORGET THAT
We need to get better at facing challenges and solving problems.

Good problem solvers and going over obstacles and being able to talk about to other people about and through it is incredibly liberating. We want to become a person to see a problem as an opportunity to get us where we want to go. We need to embrace problems and work to solve them. Obstacles, challenges, problems are all the same. Why?

The bigger the problem- the bigger the check.

Overcoming Fear

Here’s what I like you do. The great thing about PD is that when you take action you do really feel better. Start manageable and grow. Write a list of what you don’t like to do – what makes you feel uncomfortable.

This lays out action items and it puts you in control. If it we put ourselves out there – we are going to get more of we want so we need to be prepared to put ourselves out there and the first step is to make a list – make it real – get it out of our heads.

After you compiled the list – make the opportunity to do those things. In this world we all have choices – nobody’s forcing us to anything – we need to become willing to do and become more (see time management piece). Then you have to be willing to DO the things to get you where you want to go. No magic – just choice. Am I willing to do that? If you see something to be taken care of – you step up and take care of it.

In general, people are not willing to do the things which are uncomfortable – that is what keeps them where they are. A good leader is someone who is willing to do the things that make them uncomfortable. First, you do it yourself and then tell others to do the same. Your team, family, etc. is thinking the same as you used to – let them that no one is going to put an obstacle in front of them except for them. And that the faster we remove our barriers the faster we are going to move forward.

Becoming a Leader

To be a leader the best thing you can do is to be around leaders

Understand their thinking

Feel their belief and passion

Know that YOU can join them anytime YOU wish
Get Committed — Don’t hold back — Willing to learn

The American dream involves success in one way or another. A successful person either has the home, the car, the family, the yard or some other measuring stick for how they think life should be. In order to achieve success, however, one must first know what will make them feel successful. Once they have that, they must then figure out how to reach that pinnacle. Though it sounds relatively simple, many Americans struggle with the concepts of goal-setting and achievement. For this, they have the option to turn to motivational speakers for training and development.

Many people and techniques can fall within the “motivational” category. It can be as involved as hypnotherapy and hypnosis, or as simple as sitting down and reading a book. Whatever the game plan, motivational speakers such as Anthony (Tony) Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Jack Canfield and Earl Nightingale have contributed their own thoughts on the best ways to form and achieve goals.

When you look at the teachings of these individuals as a group, there are many similarities to be seen. However, individually, there are some interesting contrasts that seem to separate the sensational from the commonsensical. Anthony Robbins and Jack Canfield celebrate extensive monetary and cultural success, along with personal drama such as divorce and family estrangement. Zig Ziglar and Earl Nightingale, however, experienced moderate success but appeared to maintain a healthy family life. The difference between these two groups: the latter infused their philosophies with Christianity, while the former did not.

Anthony Robbins has built a media empire on the foundation of ‘personal power,’ which he describes as the ability to take action. Anthony Robbins’ power theory is his explanation for why some people are successful and others are not; namely, that successful people who achieve greatness do so because they take action. Anthony Robbins’ personal power offerings include Anthony Robbins books and Anthony Robbins CD collections with titles such as, Unlimited Power: The New Science Of Personal Achievement and Awaken, The Giant Within. Live With Passion!, The Power To Shape Your Destiny. He has also explored neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) training as a method for teaching people how to duplicate the successes of others in their own lives.

Anthony Robbins showed his ability to take action when he chose to divorce his first wife, Becky Robbins, after nearly 15 years of marriage. In the same year his divorced was finalized, he married his second wife, Sage Robbins. After the fact, he developed a program called Ultimate Relationship Program, despite some negative feedback from fans and critics alike. When he spoke on Larry King Live, Anthony Robbins’ quotes on the topic included his reflection on loving vs. being loved:

“I think everyone wants to be loved, whether everyone wants to love is a part of emotional maturity.”

Jack Canfield, co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series of books, had his own personal challenges. Despite his ability to reach out and touch millions of people worldwide with messages of inspiration and hope, he found himself in two divorces and the subject of a book his son wrote which cast doubt on the legitimacy of “self-help” media. Though Canfield identifies himself as a Christian and incorporates spirituality into many of his texts, specific excerpts or quotations from the bible are not found.

Decades prior, Zig Ziglar and Earl Nightingale laid down the foundation for motivational speaking with noteworthy titles such as Ziglar’s See You at the Top and Nightingale’s, The Strangest Secret. In both cases, examples or citations were taken from the Bible and infused into their text somehow, seeming to indicate the importance of Christian text to their motivational endeavors. Likewise, both gentlemen remain with their first wives.

Is the Bible required for a motivational speaker to maintain success in his professional and personal life? The hard evidence isn’t in this text, but it’s something to consider.

What is the Slight Edge and what does it have to do with personal development, self help, success, prosperity, abundance, wealth, business, career, money and freedom? The Slight Edge is a philosophy for living life that was introduced to me by a man named Jeff Olson. Not only are the principles of the Slight Edge intertwined with all of the things mentioned above, but it also is at work in the lives of those who experience depression, poverty, poor health, debt, unemployment, jobs they hate and unfulfilling relationships. The Slight Edge is at work all the time, every day in the life of every single conscious human being on this planet.

You can read Jeff Olson’s book or listen to his audio program about the Slight Edge, but I will do my best to simply summarize its meaning here for you. The Slight Edge is really referring to the very slight difference between making positive choices and negative ones, between choosing things that will enhance and improve our lives versus things that will bring us less than we truly desire. For instance, each day you have an opportunity to make hundreds, if not thousands of decisions! When to wake up, what to wear, what to eat, whether or not to exercise, what to say or not say to family and friends, what to read, what to watch, where to go, what people to see and spend time with, what to listen to, what to think and on and on and on.

Most of these “choices” that we make each day may not even feel like choices because so many of them are made on more of an unconscious level than a conscious one. However, even choices that we make day and day out require our conscious approval in order to take place and we have the power and ability within ourselves to change what choices we make at any given time. Understanding how the Slight Edge works and the difference it can make in your life over time will give you an added sense of discipline and desire to make those positive choices that are in your best interest.

An important element of the Slight Edge philosophy is understanding that most individual choices are easy to do, but they are also easy not to do. It’s easy to choose to eat a healthy salad for lunch instead of a hamburger, but it is also easy not to do that. Therein lies the power of the Slight Edge choice. To understand the influence of the Slight Edge at work in your life it is important to look at a given choice over time, let’s say one year. If you watch one hour of television each day, that doesn’t really seem like a big deal right? It is certainly easy to do and it could also be said that it is easy not do. On average, Americans watch much more than one hour of television a day, but for the sake of this illustration we will assume you watch just one hour. The equates to seven hours a week, approximately 30 hours a month and 365 hours a year, which is equivalent to more than nine 40 hour work weeks! I’m not saying this is good or bad I’m just illustrating the power of the Slight Edge at work. When you think about your daily choices in terms of their impact and influence in your life over one year or one decade, it puts those activities into better perspective.

Now, I’m not saying we should not watch TV, go to movies, relax, or anything like that. I enjoy doing all of those things, in proper balance. My intention in sharing my experience with this philosophy with you is to help you understand that there are little simple things that you can begin doing today, that if done over time, will absolutely transform your life. It is about understanding the potential that each of us have to grow, to progress, to improve, to create, to expand and to be a better, more fulfilled and happy person in one year than we are today! How can we go about making Slight Edge improvements to our daily choices so that we can experience consistent growth and personal development in our lives? There are several ways and I will share a few that have worked phenomenally well for me.

Reading personal development or self help books and listening to similar audio programs has made a huge difference in my life. Do you realize that if you read just 10 pages from a personal development book every day that you will have read 3,650 pages by the end of just one year! Sure, the math is easy and it makes sense, but that translates to easily one or two dozen books. It only takes about 30 minutes a day to do that yet the impact upon the way you think, act and live your life will be tremendously enhanced. Reading 10 pages a day is easy to do. It is also easy not to do. Therein lies the power of the Slight Edge decision. Additionally, if you listen to just 15 minutes of inspiring personal development audio programs, podcasts or audiobooks each day while driving to and from work or while exercising, that equates to 91.25 hours of listening in one year; more than two 40 hour work weeks put together! Do you think putting such content into your mind and applying it in your life would help you to become a better person and be more successful in achieving your personal and professional goals? Absolutely! It is easy to do? Is it easy not to do?

You see, a large majority of people read trashy magazines, watch tv and listen to worthless radio instead of reading personal development books, listening to inspiring audio and taking a little time out to improve their lives. We should not be surprised if our lives our not what we wish them to be if we are not taking the simple daily actions to improve ourselves and to be better. Our lives right now, in this present moment, are nothing more than a cumulative result of everything that we have thought and done previously in life! If you do not like your situation, your relationships, your job, your build, your income (or lack thereof), then look in the mirror and make a firm resolve to yourself that you will begin TODAY to make changes in the Slight Edge choices you make each day. Don’t beat yourself and drop deeper into depression. Celebrate and get excited that you now know what you can do to change your life for the better. Will you transform into the life of your dreams overnight? Of course not. However, by making slight changes each day in the seemingly insignificant choices of what you do, your life will absolutely be transformed in a years time, probably much sooner. I have experienced this first hand and I absolutely know that it works.

When I was a teenager I was hanging out with the wrong crowd and got involved in drinking, drugs, smoking, theft and all variety of unhealthy behavior. My life was falling apart quickly and the future did not look to bright for me. After having a very scary experience with drugs I made a firm decision that I was going to change my life. I made some drastic decisions at that point to dis-associate from my friends, to get rid of all my depressing music, to stop abusing substances and to begin working heavily on improving myself, my mind, my body, my life. What I’ve found for myself and for others is that immediate change can be noticed and experienced, especially when you are making these changes at a very low point in your life. If you are in the depths of despair and the whole world seems to be crashing in upon you then shifting your mind, body and spirit can make a visual transformational difference upon you in a matter of hours. A lot of that depends upon the intensity of your determination to change and to improve your life and your willingness to disassociate yourself, as much as possible, from those things or people that have had such a powerful negative influence over you. This isn’t about running from your problems, but rather about taking back control of your life and not giving that control to anyone but yourself.

I read book after book about personal development. About thoughts, behavior, attitude, goals, success, achievement, etc. Just get your hands on any personal development books that really jump out at you, dive in and absorb as much as you can as quickly as you can. What I loved about these books is that there were always numerous ideas and suggestions that I could immediately begin applying in my mind and in my life to see how they would make a difference. I would do the exercises, follow the guidance and see what happened. I also did a lot of spiritual exploration during this time, praying, meditation, reading scripture and just cleansing myself as well as I knew how. This will be a different process for everyone depending upon your religious persuasions, where you live and what spiritual books and teachers are a part of your life. I also began eating more healthy foods, exercising and getting more adequate rest every night. This was invigorating to build my body, to develop and to see that it was ready to take on new challenges and to be pushed to new limits. That felt good and seemed to help accelerate the growth I was experiencing mentally, emotionally and spiritually as well.

I was 18 years of age when I made that decision to change my life for the better. I am now 31 and have by no means reached the pinnacle of personal growth and achievement. However, I have been fortunate to have enjoyed many remarkable experiences and blessings in my life, due in large part to the fact that I have been continually working on improving myself and the lives of those around me. I’ve traveled throughout the United States and Canada. I received scholarships to college and graduated with honors. I married a beautiful woman when I was 24 and we now have two incredible children with our third to arrive this summer. I have started businesses, invested in real estate, managed multi-million dollar companies and consulted entrepreneurs. I currently own a multi-million dollar business within the Health and Wellness industry and am able to help people from all walks of life all over the world. My future is bright and I know that there are no limits to what I can achieve as long as I continue to follow the Slight Edge path of personal development and striving to improve the lives of others.

It is my desire that you will join with me in this phenomenal journey of life. If you are looking to make some changes in your life, do it now! Take the time for some personal exploration, set your goals, decide what small things you can begin doing each day that will have a powerful cumulative effect upon you and your family in your life. If you are looking to make a professional change or to work within a business that is perfectly aligned with these principles, then let me know. I’d love to explore the possibility of working together with you in my business and helping you to accomplish all of the goals that you set for yourself.

Do you find yourself striving to move forward, but getting nowhere? You likely have barriers to personal growth and development that you may not even be aware of. Many people have barriers to personal growth and development that hold them back from achieving their personal or career goals in life. However, regardless of the nature of your barriers to personal growth and development, you can overcome the obstacles and achieve your goals with a few lifestyle and mindset adjustments.

The most common barrier to personal growth and development is your own imagination. How much a person can accomplish is only limited by the vision and determination of the person. If you think that you cannot accomplish something, then you will fail. If you think that you can accomplish something, and you put in the effort, you will succeed. Often, personal growth and development is often that simple.

Another common barrier to personal growth and development is past failures or events. Often our past failures or bad events in our lives get in the way of personal growth and development. It is natural for our minds to dwell on such events, but only by moving past them can we truly grow as people and in our careers. These incidents must be put aside so that we can accomplish our goals.

Another common barrier to personal growth and development is our support systems, or lack of support. Negative messages from family, friends, and co-workers will only serve to bring us down, not lift us up. Surrounding yourself with people who are like minded and striving for success in their careers and their life will help you to do the same. Whether you get support from an organized group, your friends, or your family makes no difference. The support that you get, the motivational pep talks and the shoulder to cry on when things go wrong, will help you to realize all of your goals and overcome your barriers to personal growth and development.

One of the less common barriers to personal growth and development is the basic lack of planning. Many people go through life taking what is handed to them, without ever setting down goals and striving to exceed expectations. Setting goals, figuring out how to reach those goals, and making a timeline for success is a vitally important and often ignored barrier to personal growth and development.

Remember, whatever your personal barriers to personal growth and development, you can overcome your obstacles. Any person who sets goals, creates a timeline for success, has adequate support, and strives for excellence can overcome these barriers to personal growth and development and achieve the success that all people deserve.

If you need further assistance in personal growth and development, you can find a lot of information on the internet or in books through your local library or your favorite online book store. Personal development coaches, career development profiles, and other personal growth and development tools can also help you to overcome obstacles and achieve what seemed like the impossible.
